The Rescue Operations Team at Swingin’ D Horse Rescue (SDHR) helps keep the ranch and its equipment humming so we can provide the highest possible quality care for the horses we save.
Under the guidance of Swingin’ D board members, Rescue Operations volunteers help to ensure we maintain our property, tools and equipment by performing the following duties:
- Fence installation, inspection and repair
- Landscaping, gardening and mowing
- Electrical, plumbing and equipment repair
- Shelter construction, roof repair and painting
Volunteers who want to join the Rescue Operations Team take an in initial orientation, then certification in rescue operations.
