Swingin’ D Horse Rescue volunteers are the lifeblood of our mission. We rely heavily on the loyal friends who help us with barn chores, training, horse handling and so much more. There is no greater gift than the gift of precious time, and we’re grateful for every second our volunteers spend with us.

Once we know you’re trained and comfortable, you can help keep the horses in top riding condition, like April!
Swingin’ D could not make it without Mike, Cindy and April.
Week after week, Mike, Cindy and April are at the ‘D, working with horses, mucking manure and fixing stuff.
Cindy and Mike haul a mule load of poop to the compost pile.
Tami enjoys spending time with the horses (like Winston), no matter the weather.
April gives Everest a good workout on one of her many volunteer days.
