Adopt a spark plug with potential gallore!

Adopt Mazi - 5-8-year-old Arabian mare

A few things you need to know about Miss Mazi Bug:

  1. She’s a horse
  2. She’s a mare
  3. She’s cute as a li’l bug in a rug

Once you fully understand those three points, you’ll have a pretty good picture of our little bug. While she acts like a puppy, she’s very much a horse; 100-percent mare; and adorable enough to get away with a little too much. (She’s so precious, we’ve thought about making her an inside horse.)

Mazi is a petite Arabian (under 14 hands), so she’ll require a smaller rider with at least intermediate skills. We’ll consider adopting Mazi to a beginner if the adopter agrees to continue lessons with an approved professional trainer (preferably ours).

Because Mazi is so intelligent and willing, there’s no reason in the world she can’t be successful (and competitive) in any riding discipline. She’s fit, fast, and fun, fun, fun!

Everyone (and I mean everyone) falls in love with Mazi. She’s very social, loves humans, and is full of personality. She can be a little drama queen at times, so she’ll require an adopter who understands how horses think and is confident enough to be a leader.

While Mazi is a spirited little spark plug, she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Still, she’s more than 800 pounds; and as the low mare in the herd, she’s always looking for someone who will let her be boss. She’s never tried to bite, kick, buck or rear, but she can get sassy and pushy if she thinks she’s getting away with it. Just don’t let her get away with it.

If you’re interested in adopting Mazi, check out our adoption requirements and fill out an application. If Mazi isn’t right for you, take a look at our other horses below.
